Tea Tree Soap
Tea tree soap is one of the best soaps for fighting due to its antibacterial properties.
Tea tree oil comes from the native Australia species of Melaleuca Alternifolia. Manufacturers steam distill the plant to extract the oil .
The tree is about 40 feet tall in the wild, but for commercial manufacturing they grow like bushes. Australia has a unique flora because it is of Gondwanan origin which was a super continent.
Australia was an isolated continent. So, It would take a few months to get to Australia from Europe. In 1606, a Dutch navigator was the first European to land on Australia and in 1770 Captain James Cook claimed Australia for England.
The colony was looking for something to Export from Port Jackson (Sydney today). After observing how the aborigines were using the plants, they started to copy them and see how plants actually cure certain sicknesses or infections.
The colony had to observe aborigines because Indigenous people are secretive. They tend to not share information with outsiders and have a certain codes of respect and secrecy. Till this day many plants that have medicinal benefits are not discovered because of the secrecy that indigenous people have.
After seeing how the plants were helping with different issues, they became interested in researching them.
In 1920 Arthur Penfold discovered that tea tree oil actually works! It is a great therapeutic oil.
In World War II, Australian soldiers used tea tree oil as an antiseptic for cuts and infections.
An organization called Australian Tea Tree Industry Association (ATTIA) supports tea tree oil manufacturing and tea tree farmers. They also have strong control over the oil, making sure it is 100% pure.

Tea tree oil has antimicrobial properties, this helps in fighting acne. Additionally, it reduces acne scars, dark spots, and blemishes with continuous usage
Tea tree oil soap can also help sooth dry skin and eczema. Tea tree has anti-inflammatory properties which helps reduce the itching. If you or your child is suffering from chickenpox washing the body with tea tree oil soap will sooth the itching too.
The antiseptic properties in tea tree oil could help reduce the oiliness of your skin. It can also be used to fight infections or rashes.
