Natural Beauty Tips to start implementing today

It all starts from within
The first natural beauty tip is kind of familiar but important to address.
Maintaining a healthy or balanced lifestyle is important for your skin, hair, and overall health.
Now, we are not talking about only eating healthy food and exercising every day. Balance is key here. No fad diets, no restrictions. It really depends more on your diet. For example, if you don’t eat salads maybe you can try adding vegetables to your diet in a different way, like sautéing them. Don’t forget to stay hydrated all the time too.
Small, simple steps can make huge differences on the long run. You can also try taking supplements, I would recommend taking multivitamins and not the hair and skin vitamins as the multivitamins cover a wider range of minerals and vitamins.
Try exercising twice a week, it doesn’t have to be cardio or weightlifting if you aren’t into that stuff. You can try doing Pilates, yoga or just dance around for 15 minutes. Yoga is a great exercise specially for skin, because of some of the inverted poses which boost blood circulation to your head, this gives the face an extra lift. Additionally, yoga helps us relax, and we all know stress is bad for us and makes us look exhausted.

Reduce stress
Stress can be really harmful for our physical and mental health. It can cause our skin to breakout and trigger eczema and premature aging.
Our bodies produce more Cortisol when we are stressed, increased cortisol levels increase sebum production which could trigger breakouts. It can also cause eczema to flare up.
Quick note: Drinking too much coffee can also affect how our skin looks like since it boosts cortisol levels in our body. Try drinking no more than two cups of coffee a day.
You can try to reduce stress in whatever way suits you best. For instance, you can try meditation, yoga, sleep, a warm bath or even lighting a candle and reading a book.

Drink chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is caffeine free, tastes good and is full of antioxidants. It also helps people relax.
Chamomile tea may help improve the quality of your sleep as it contains a specific antioxidant that binds with receptors to promote sleepiness. We know having enough sleep is key to bright and youthful skin. So, when our sleep quality improves, our skin will look better.
Chamomile tea may also help fight acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties. As a teenager I was suffering from acne, and I heard this natural beauty tip somewhere and tried it out. I drank chamomile tea every night before going to sleep for two weeks straight, and it improved my acne. If you suffer from acne, I suggest you drink chamomile tea every night.

Use vitamin E oil for skin and hair
Adding a few drops of vitamin E to your lotion or moisturizer would be great for extra hydration. Vitamin E is also great for restoring dull skin and protecting it from premature aging as it fights damage caused by pollutants. Vitamin E promotes collagen production giving the face a youthful look.
You can add a few drops of vitamin E to your oil mix (oil hair mask), the Vitamin E will revive the scalp to make sure the hair growing would be healthy and strong. The antioxidants in the vitamin E increases blood circulation which means it will help grow your hair out faster. Vitamin E can also repair damaged hair.
Some people like putting a little bit of vitamin E oil on their eyelashes or eyebrows to grow them out. If you wanna have longer eyelashes, try putting Vitamin E on your eyelashes before going to bed.

Our final natural beauty tip: Learn how to choose the right products and apply them in the right order
a lot of us see different ads or hear different people talk about various products. In reality, keeping things basic is best. Know your skin and what works for it, try to buy products with good ingredients and stick to a certain routine that works for you. If you don’t have a routine you can start with cleansing and moisturizing, don’t forget to put sunscreen. Then, you can gradually add a few extra products like serums or face oils.
The order in which you place your products is important.
Morning skin care product order (You don’t need to have all the products):
- Cleaner
- Toner
- Serum
- Eye cream
- Spot treatment
- Moisturizer
- Sunscreen
Night skin care product order:
- Makeup remover
- Cleanser
Note: You can just double cleanse with an oil based cleanser and then a water based cleanser
- Tone
- Eye cream
- Treatment, serum or peels
- Moisturizer or night cream
